in conjunction with Refraction Arts & Fuse Box THE BLANTON MUSEUM (Congress & MLK) May 2nd @ 6 - 11pm TICKETS: $5 members; $10 non-membersMUSIC/VISUAL ART/PERFORMANCE Join us for B scene, the monthly art party at the Blanton.Held on the first Friday of every month, from 6 – 11 p.m., this themed event is the place to see and be seen with nearly 1,000 art lovers in attendance. Featuring performances by Austin bands and DJs, the museum has hosted Experimental Aircraft, the Octopus Project, the Ugly Beats, Magic Surprise, Glover Gill, The Carrots, DJ Mel, DJ Little Danny, Record Breakers, and DJ Greg Most of WAXPLOITATION!, among many others, as well as special events such as the Austin Poetry Slam. The B scene experience is enhanced with gallery tours, art activities, cash bar, and light snacks. Cost: $5 for members; $10 for non-members. Tickets are available at the museum. The museum is located at MLK and Congress. |
