PERFORMANCE/INSTALATION

This workshop production is currently in development as part of The Louisiana Stage Writers Workshop hosted by Cripple Creek Theatre Company in New Orleans. Part performance, part installation, part sleepover, We Three Kings employs fiddles, flashlights, laptops, nightlamps and a company of New Orleans based performers, musicians and street artists to create a dreamlike vision of contemporary life in NO.

The Cripple Creek Theatre Co. is dedicated to producing dramatic works of cultural, historical, and political relevance in order to provoke social action. Cripple Creek works to broaden the artistic scope of New Orleans Theatre and to create avenues for locals to channel their creative energies.

NoLa Rising is a post-Katrina art campaign encouraging people in all neighborhoods of Greater New Orleans to publicly display works of art for the purpose of rebuilding and restoring the human spirit in our city. NoLa Rising is an active part of the renaissance of New Orleans and promotes the culture of the people in all forms.
