STAGED READING

High above the city, three rooms look out on each other and on a skyline of glass and concrete. Lives overlap and abut; plots, devices, and works of art are built up and demolished. Characters stare out through their windows or peer into digital screens in search of one another. Are they coming closer together, or falling further apart?

This new play is presented as a script-in-hand rehearsed reading. Stick around afterwards for a feedback session led by dramaturg Kristin Leahey.

Playwright Michael Agresta has seen two short segments of his site-oriented Music for Houses series produced here in Austin. Last year at Fuse Box, he collaborated on the full-day Moveable Feast performance. In May, he receives his MFA from the Michener Center for Writers in fiction and playwriting.
